This policy explains what personal data Business Japanese Prep processes when you use businessjapaneseprep.com, why, with which providers, and what rights you have.

Visiting the site

Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. (USA), processes technical data from each request (IP address, browser, page, date and time) to deliver and protect the site. We derive your country from the IP address to show the right currency and price; we do not store it.

Tests and practice

Your answers and results stay in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to us.

Your account

Sign-in and accounts are provided by Clerk, Inc. (USA). We process your email address, your name if you give it, and session data to run your account and unlock what you bought. If you buy without signing in, we create the account with the email used at checkout or attach the purchase to the existing account with that email.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe, Inc., USA, and its affiliates). Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them. We receive name, email, country, product, amount and payment status.

Emails

Purchase confirmations are sent through Resend, Inc. (USA).

Cookies and local storage

We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

  • Clerk cookies (for example __session, __client_uat): keep you signed in.
  • bjprep-theme and bjprep-result-* in your browser’s local storage: theme and last results.

International transfers

These providers are in the USA and Business Japanese Prep is operated from Brazil. Transfers rely on the providers’ data-protection commitments, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

  • Account: for as long as it exists; deleted when you ask.
  • Purchase data: as long as tax law requires.
  • Messages to support: as long as needed to answer.

Your rights

You can ask for disclosure, correction, suspension of use and deletion of your data. If you live in the EU, the GDPR gives you further rights; in Brazil, the LGPD does.
